![]() ![]() If I change the setting from "always ask" to "okular" it makes no difference, PDF files are still launched in gimp. Gimp is not on the list so I cannot remove it. However, if I go to "application details" there is only okular. If I go to the firefox preferences and select the "applications" tab, under PDF there are two programs listed: "Gnu Image Manipulation"and "okular". There is no situation under which I would want to open a PDF in Gimp directly from firefox. However, after a recent update the default program has been set to Gimp 2.6. This is even more of an issue in my citation manager plugin, zotero, which will automatically open any PDF in the default program without giving you any option to select a program. If I do end up saving it I tend to right-click on the file in the download window and click "open", which used to open it in the default, and only, PDF reader, which is okular. What happens is that I want to normally be asked what I want to do with a PDF file so I can either open it in my default PDF reader (okular) or save it to disk. For some reason Gimp was assigned as the default program for opening PDF files from firefox and I cannot seem to change it or remove it from the list of programs entirely.
